Here are one or two of the things people have said about Shere Delights.
BBC Surrey :: 1st October 2014
We had the pleasure of having BBC Surrey for a visit to discuss the recent warm weather and the impact this has had on ice cream sales.
The feature was aired on the breakfast show on the morning of the 1st October 2014.
Thank you to the lovely team at BBC Surrey
Surrey Matters : Autumn 2014
The editorial team at Surrey Matters were invited to use Shere as one of their spotlight villages and so on a sunny day at the end of July, we played host to their team of reporters who set about quizzing the locals and visitors as to what attracts them to Shere.
We were pleased to hear that Ice Cream and Sweets play quite a role in choosing Shere as a destination!
The Guide2Guildford :: August 2014
"The shop has become a favourite of locals and visitors to Shere drawn to its ice cream counter and fantastic selection of flavours.
The shelves above hold jars of every sweet your inner child fondly remembers, and for our inner grown up they also sell some of the finest artisan chocolates available.
This year, the emporium have also gone mobile with their first vintage, 1940s style ice cream bicycles that can be hired for weddings, parties and corporate functions."
Essential Surrey Magazine :: July 2013
If you ever visit the picturesque village of Shere, then you must pop along to Shere Delights for an ice cream. The recently opened retro sweet shop and ice cream parlour is proving such a hit that, on (rare) sunny days, queues go out of the door! Shere Delights’s scrumptious scoops are handmade by a London artisan supplier.
Pick ’n’ lick: Where to start? Well, the popcorn flavour will delight the adventurous. Traditionalists should go for the Mint Chocolate Chip – dotted with dark Valrhona chocolate.
